Glueless: Hermetic packaging of microfluidic sensor chips without glue or elastomers for ventilators and multi-infusion systems
Bronkhorst and the University of Twente are collaborating to develop microfluidic flowmeters using MEMS technology for applications in ventilators and multi-infusion systems. These systems require precise control of various gas flows and accurate measurements of liquid medicines.
SPARC: Scalable Information Processing Architectures with reliable molecular components
The Materials Innovation Institute (M2i), the University of Twente and Brainonix B.V. will investigate how ultra-thin DMS films (10–15 nm) can be fabricated and integrated with metal electrodes without compromising their switching and data storage characteristics.
WADI: Wavelength-multiplexing for high-throughput ultraclean wafer dicing
The industrial partner inPhocal B.V. and the Chair of Laser Processing at the University of Twente are developing a proof-of-concept for subsurface laser dicing of silicon wafers required for the next generation of electronic chip technology, namely heterogeneous integration.
