The goal is to develop integrated photonic authentication hardware, based on the Temporal Physical Unclonable Key (TPUK) protocol developed at the UT and to work on the integration in key management systems. The hardware authentication that TPUK offers for quantum communication is also useful for classical communication and as such interesting for networks of today and the future.
