Are you active in the field of integrated photonics and/or advanced packaging and heterogeneous integration? And would you like to gain insight into research collaborations and business opportunities? Then join the RVO innovation mission to Germany from 28 September to 2 October 2026.

During the innovation mission, you will visit leading players in semiconductors, integrated photonics and advanced packaging/heterogeneous integration in Germany. You will engage in discussions with companies, knowledge institutions and regional clusters in Saxony and Berlin-Brandenburg. You will also explore opportunities for entering German end markets. This will give you insight into relevant projects, new research collaborations and business opportunities for your organisation.

Who is it for?

The innovation mission is intended for professionals from industry and research institutions working on semiconductors and integrated photonics.

Objectives of the mission

The innovation mission has the following objectives:

• To increase engagement between the two technological worlds of semiconductors and photonics, with a focus on bringing together companies and knowledge institutions. The aim is to further explore and develop concrete projects and research collaborations.
• To explore opportunities for collaboration with major German projects currently in their start-up phase, such as the APECS Fraunhofer Pilot Line.
• To explore opportunities for Dutch industry to enter end markets.

Would you like to take part? Please register by Friday 22 May at the latest via the online registration form. As this is a small-scale mission, RVO aims to have one participant per organisation. Depending on the number of registrations, a second participant may be permitted.

Final participation depends on the number of places available. RVO will also assess how well your expertise fits within the scope and objective of the mission. Registration therefore does not guarantee admission to the mission. You will receive final confirmation of participation after the registration deadline.
