Sweden is seen as a pioneer in quantum applications in the LSH domain.
Quantum technologies (Computing, Communication and Sensing) will be crucial for our earning capacity and security in the long term. They will enable solutions in the energy, health and (cyber) security sectors. The Netherlands has the ambition to become a leader in the field of quantum technology and is looking for strategic partnerships to achieve this goal. Sweden is an important partner in this technology, with unique opportunities for valorisation in applied research.
For whom?
This mission is for:
- entrepreneurs and professionals working on innovative solutions in the quantum domain;
- industry professionals who want to explore the possibilities and opportunities of quantum technology for their organisation;
- knowledge institutions and researchers.
Objectives mission
This mission focuses on Scandinavia in general and Sweden in particular and has the following goals:
- gain insight into quantum developments and applications, such as in the field of LSH;
- gain insight into the ecosystem, the innovative developments and opportunities in the quantum domain;
- explore trends and opportunities for long-term (public-private) cooperation between knowledge institutions and companies in the field of research and development;
- linking innovative knowledge and technology from the Netherlands to regional market opportunities.
Draft programme
We try to take the specific wishes of the participants into account as much as possible in the development of the programme. The mission will take place during the Inside Quantum Technology Nordics Summit 2025 and will include:
- participation in some relevant programme components of the Inside Quantum Technology Nordics Summit in the presence of key players from the Nordic quantum ecosystem;
- a visit to the Wallenberg Centre for Quantum Technology (WACQT) at Chalmers University, Sweden’s national quantum initiative;
- company visits, such as to AstraZeneca;
- networking events, where possible one-on-one meetings and a boat trip to the Swedish archipelago.
Costs
The costs for participation in the innovation mission are €250 (excluding VAT) per person. This includes:
- participation in the collective programme;
- transfers to and from programme components;
- lunch and dinners (as mentioned in the programme).
Participation does not include:
- travel and accommodation costs;
- all individual costs, such as lunches and dinners outside the programme.

Please note: the mission is small-scale. We strive for a maximum of one participant per organisation.
Final participation depends on the number of available places. We also consider how well your technology and expertise fit within the mission’s scope and purpose.
