On 18 and 19 February, the Career Fair of Business Days Twente will take place from 10:00 to 16:30 in the Grolsch Veste. Students from the University of Twente and Saxion University of Applied Sciences can meet with 160 companies that will be present, to discuss internships or graduation projects, and to explore (future) job opportunities after completing their studies. Chip tech-related companies from the region will also be present at the Career Fair. See here for an overview of participating companies.

The UT will be present at the Career Fair on both days with a stand at the “Twente NextTech square”. Colleagues from HR will be on hand to inform prospective graduates about working at the UT. In addition, colleagues from the ChipTech Talent Strengthening Plan will be present to inform students about continuing their studies in a chip tech field and working in the chip tech sector.

Opportunities for students include chip tech-related master’s programmes for students completing their bachelor’s degree, pre-master’s programmes for students who want to do a master’s degree after completing their higher professional education, internships and graduation projects, EngD positions, and jobs at companies for graduates of Saxion and the UT.

We would like to extend an invitation to your company: as part of the ChipTech Talent Strengthening Plan, we would like to invite engineers from a number of chip tech companies to the UT stand to inform and inspire students about what working in the chip tech sector entails and what you do. This is also an excellent opportunity for companies that do not already have a stand at the Career Fair: you will also have the opportunity to place a banner for your company. It would be great if 1 or 2 engineers from companies could be present on both days, for the whole day or for part of the day.

Please let us know if you will be attending the Career Fair on 18 or 19 February at the UT stand Versterkingsplan ChipTech Talent, on the Twente NextTech square. We would like to receive the following information:

• An engineer from our company will be present to inform and inspire students and graduates about working in the chip tech sector
• Name, email address and telephone number of this employee
• On which day (18 or 19 February) can you attend, and at what time (minimum 2 consecutive hours, between 10:00 and 16:30)
• Will you bring a banner from your company (please note: maximum width 1 metre)?

We will draw up a schedule of who will be present and when with the companies that wish to participate.
